Explore, Have Fun and Relax in the Slocan Valley!
The Slocan Valley in British Columbia's West Kootenays offers countless adventures for the active outdoors person, all amidst breathtaking scenery. In the valley between South Slocan and Slocan Lake, Highway 6 and the Slocan Valley HeritageTrail (once the railbed for the Columbia & Kootenay Railway) both parallel the Slocan River. The highway, the trail and the river all pass through Slocan Park, where we live. The river has fantastic swimming spots and provides routes for fun by canoe, kayak or inner tube, while the trail allows for pleasant, picturesque exploration by bicycle, on foot or on cross-country skis. And the highway connects to more site-seeing opportunities, hot pools, and adventures such as hiking, swimming, golfing, mountain-climbing, and downhill skiing, to name a few.
Spend a night, two nights or a week in our comfortable home in the heart of this recreation wonderland, and head out each day to experience more of "Super, Natural" British Columbia.
We welcome your visit.
